Well, just went to the vet and his ratio has not improved. Before his potassium and sodium were quite far off with a ratio of 22.2. His sodium or potassium (the higher number) was a little better this time, but the other was worse. The ratio is now 22.13. So we gave him a shot of Percorten at 0.08 ml and we will see what happens. We will still use the florineff for the next few days but tapering off.

How fast does the Percorten usually start working in ferrets? What is the usual dosage that ferrets normally respond to? Thanks for all your help in this fustrating experience!!
