We have had some adrenal growths that we waited a bit on so that the
vet doing the surgery could better find it, but we never wait on ones
which have strong symptoms, which have marked behavioral changes,
which begin to smell that rotty-sweet smell which can go with
malignancies, or ones which develop symptoms rapidly.

We jump IMMEDIATELY with blocked males, and in general we move faster
with males than females with adrenal growths because of the high
probability of swollen prostrates from them causing urinary blockages
which are painful, can cause bladder rupture, and can endanger
kidneys.

Of course, we don;t wait very long with females, either.

The ones we have who are not surgical candidates get Lupron though we
had an elderly one we were going to try an alternative with since
Lupron didn't work well with her, but her other health problems took
her first.
