Hello. Merry is my 2 yr. old female sable with Lymphoma. She has gone through 4 chemo sessions and is doing very well. No more tissue masses have formed and the one that appeared after her surgery has almost disappeared! After the initial 6 sessions we will be moving to a monthly schedule and hopefully the cancer will be in remission.

Merry has to take 6.25 mg Cytoxan pill every 5 days and 1.5 mg Prednisone pill every other day. Lately she has been getting into one of the plants, a Sansevieria, every day and she's not even digging - she's trying to eat it! This is unusal behavior for her. The last time we caught her she had to be pried off and she fought every step of the way. I wondered if she may be trying to eat the plant because her stomach is upset? I've heard cats and dogs will eat grass if they feel sick. Is there something I can give Merry to help her digest these drugs more easily? I feed her chicken or beef gerber baby food before giving her the pills. At first I took it as a good sign that she was getting into mischief, but this really isn't her style - Stealing anything not nailed down is. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks, Trish ~ Merry, Pippin & Zira
