Subject: update on Kayla with scabs

Well I just talked to the vet and he said that there are only 3 reasons she would have this skin infection: its either bacterial, fungal, or allergies. And he has treated her for all 3. He said that we could put her on long term oral antibiotics, but he can't guarantee they will work. So he recommended that we take Kayla to a skin specialist and he gave us the number of one that is very good. I feel like I'm running out of options. It's hard to think that our vet can't seem to figure out what it is, and that worries me. It makes me think that it is something more serious than we had thought.
