I'm probably wrong but first of all pred should always be given in 12
hour intervals only. Second all my ferrets that had both adrenal glands
removed required a few hormone replacements that are no longer produced
by the adrenal gland. Also, adrenal disease in ferrets mimic addisons
disease in dogs but you do not treat it as if it were addisons.

Cheryl, Steve and all our ferrets most looking for a forever home and
people to play with. Check us out at www.sjferret.com

He is still on pred at 0.36mg once a day. We are now changing that to
0.18 2x's a day to see if it may help.
