My step-son has been diagnosed with this. Of course, it is extremely contagious. I need to make sure that coxsackie 16, an enterovirus, is not contagious to ferrets. Basically, he feels fine, is supposed to be with his mother this week, but I stayed home from work because it is easier for me to. So, I want to use him to help clean cages, but do not want to infect the ferrets.
