Let me clarify what I wrote. My hand gets tired because of the constant pressure applied to their strong bladder. Rather, I apply constant pressure and slighly adjust the angle of my hand if necessary.
I don't know if it's possible, but I wouldn't want to rupture a bladder by using too hard of pressure - especially if you are doing something that blocks the flow of urine out of the urethra.
This is probably something that is best done by having your vet show you in person the first time. And I'm certainly not a vet. :)
