Are you feeding Reno "Duck Soup"? I have had to feed all my ferrets D.S.
after every surgery. One of mine, Dinky, had insulinoma surgery a few weeks
ago and didn't go completely back to eating her dry food for 3 weeks. I
never let a post-op ferret go without eating for more than 3-4 hours. If you
need a recipe for D.S., I'll be glad to send you what I put in mine. All my
ferrets (3 currently) get D.S. 2 x a day, just for extra nutrition - and so
that they will eat for me after any unexpected surgery.
Janice, Dinky, Skittles, Baby Girl, and a 12 week old kitten who assumes
she's also a ferret
