Hi All, according to Dr Deeney one of the strange things with ADV is
that the antibodies will not be found on testing after the virus has
been dormant for a while. He said that a 6 month gap in testing positive
was not uncommon. (That is reason for testing every 3 months on breeding
farms.) He does work mainly with mink though and acknowledge experiments
done in laboratory conditions may not reflect real life. Chris.
I tried to get him to answer questions for us but was told by a club
member that knows him, that because of the problems here in the UK with
the ALF loonies these animal research people keep a very low profile and
away from public debates.
