Hi,
I think I misheard my answering machine message regarding a 48 hour fast for my ferret. I think what was meant was 4 to 8 hours. I work nights and sleep days and by the time I heard the message late saturday, they were all ready closed for me to ask about the message. The answering service put me through to a emergency vet clinic and when I asked that doctor she said with fluids that would be fine, but she mostly treats cats and dogs.
I still thought it was ALL wrong and I DID NOT put my Chongie through that. I would never fast my ferret for 48 hours. I was just curious why they would even possibly say 48 hours.
I'm waiting for them to open so I can talk directly to a person and my appointment is later this afternoon.
