Thanks again. I just thought I should lighten up on the food, and maybe still should. I wasn't expecting news like this.
What medications or procedures helps this condition, if any? Do they ever feel better? I have to bring Pam, the other ferret back to the vet. She has a growth on the bottom of her foot. It looked like one pad on her hind leg swelled up, and when I started her on prednisone it shrunk and now it is back, in the shape of a ball, hanging on by a thread. It's crusty and has some black spots and a few hairs in it. I just got back from being away for 3 weeks and the vet where I was thought my chihuahua was an exotic pet, so I knew I would be a waste of time going there with the ferrets. My Dr here at home is in on Wednesday. When it rains it pours!
