I have a ferret that has had mast cell tumors and
that's how they were on her. They seem to itch so she
would end up scratching it until it bled and scabbed
over. Then it would heal up to a small bump and
repeat again. Since you don't really know what it is
until it gets sent off to pathology, the vet removed
it and send it off for a biospy. It was just day
surgery so she was done by 10am, ready to pick up at
4pm, and bounding around when we got home that
afternoon.
