I seem to remember one of the vets on this list (maybe Dr. Purcell) posting that Pau d'arco should never be used on a ferret with insulinoma or possible insulinoma, because that herb actually lowers the blood sugar. I have heard the Pau d'arco can be helpful with lymphoma, but not insulinoma.
