Hi,

Just one more thanks from over here in NY. Everyone was right. She was
reacting for the lack of hormones in her body. The doc gave her subq's to
re-hydrate her since she wasn't eating/drinking. He didn't have percortin but
he had it overnighted to the office and we are expecting blood work back
today. I spoke w/ Dr. Weiss on the phone. He prescribed florinef in the
meantime to get her going and feeling better. Now the hardest part is getting
that pill in her! She is a picky little one!

Last night I was able to get most of the dosage of florinef into her, this AM
she lapped up about 95% of it in the ferretone. I think I finally figured out
how to trick it into her. She has improved tremendously. Eating, walking,
hiding socks again. She definately feels better! THANKS EVERYONE!!

BTW: I saw the post about why percortin over florinef and Dr. W said they
work the same, it is just a matter of preference. Florinef may work a bit
faster but it is troublesome to give twice a day esp. considering it in pill
form. percortin will take ~3 days to work (0.2ml) but it much easier just to
bring in for the injection.
