Sorry to those on some other sites that I posted this on:)

SO how would everyone like to hear how my day went:)

Started off with a Vet visit. Griffins' belly looked alittle bloated
and with what I thought (The explinations comes later, hehehe) was
adrenal I did not want to take any chances with him. SO the Vet
agreed that he might have alittle liquid in there so she wanted to do
a "tap" on his abdomin(sp). No problem....There was alittle fluid so
she looked at it under the microscope and ... WAH LAH ... His spleen
is leaking. So now she wants tot take it out immediately. No
problem he is fairly healthy right now and he went thru a little
surgery to remove his growth from his neck just fine. Oh and while
you are in there do you think you can do alittle exploratory surgery
and remove his adrenal if necessary. (He has started to loose his
hair and even had a bald patch on his shoulderblades for about 9 days
or so.) She says sure no problem (Starting to sound like me:) ). I
get an guess-ta-mation. OUCH!!!! OK maybe I can ONLY have you do
the spleen-o-something:) I can go up to $XXX so if you do see
something bad please try to take it out. Well lucky me I got my
wish. The spleen held atleast 10 cc's. The size they showed me
looked pretty large:) After removing that they all stopped and she
(My vet) called in one of her other Vets (It is her Vet office).
There was a LARGE TUMOR MASS UNDER THE SPLEEN!!!!! They think it was
the left kidney but have no idea because it was so eaten up by the
tumor. They showed me with their fingers that it was bigger than a
silver dollar. Pleasant, eh. So he lost ALOT of blood but they got
hte iside bleeding to stop without alot of hassle and when I went to
see him he was all drugged up and finishing his blood transfussion
(sp). They did not have ferret blood on hand (I cannot imagine why
not, hehehe). They used, for lack of proper wording, cow hemogolbin.
SO that was my day. How lovely. I went into the Vet at 8:30 am,
left at 10am, we back at 12noon to drop him off. He had the surgery
at 1:30pm, I got the call at 4pm. I called back at 6pm to see if I
could see him yet. I finally got to see him at 8pm.

They open at 7:30am so I will be going straight over there after
work. Oh yeah I work overnights:)

I just wanted to know if any one has heard of this tumorous kidney
before and is it a side affect from something else?? Does anyone know
if this could be a reason for his hair lose??
My Vet said his Left Adrenal is a PERFECT example of a normal and
healthy adrenal. She did not go into the right side b/c of cost and
difficulty (Griffin's heart rate started to drop).

Griffin is doing pretty good. His Glucose was at 103 after the
surgery (He has Insulinoma). The Vet said his bloodwork was great
and he looked good. Of course they stated that the next 24-48 hours
are the most critical. I explained to them and Griffin that he WOULD
make it through and that was that:)

Thanks all!!!!
