Subject: Wanted: Info on ferret pathologists

Hi all,

I was wondering if someone has names, addresses and phone numbers on
pathogists that specialize or are at least very familiar with ferrets?

Aside from our own wonderful Dr. Williams, that is!

I know Dr. Williams and Dr. Burgess have both recommended Mike Garner.
Another is Drury Reavill. Unfortunately, they haven't given pertinent
info so that I can tell my vet where I want tissue samples to go.

My almost 6 year old ferret, Fozzie, is going in tonight for an exam.
His spleen is really big, and his belly is becoming more rigid. We
may need to do a splenic aspirate or even remove it, and I want it to
go to someone who knows ferrets.
My vet usually uses Antech in NY. Are they reliable with ferret
diagnoses?

Thanks!
