Subject: Adrenal disease
Two of our three ferrets are showing symptoms of adrenal disease
(patterned alopecia, aggressiveness, and vulvar swelling, in the
female). Can anyone recommend a vet in the NW Ohio or SE Michigan?
From reading Dr. Bruce Williams writings on the internet, I've come to
the conclusion that he recommends going to surgery on symptomatic
ferrets without doing a lot of pre-op testing (ie.ultra sounds & extra
blood work). Am I correct?
