I understand your problem..one of my three ferrets,kasi..does
scratch..in the beginning he scratched alot and we figured out that
the dry carpet cleaner we used on the rugs he was sensitive to as
well as the dry cat litters..we use dust free now. I alos would
investigate ear mites. and you could always try selsun blue dandroff
shampoo on his balding spots,it helped with my other ferret who had
balckheads on his tail related too earmites.try a couple of
treatments daily,it worked wonders for my ferrets. goodluck and let
