Subject: more on possible bladder infection
I read everyone's responses about how my ferret might have
adrenal problems and an enlarged prostrate. This sounds much
more likely then a bladder infection at this point. I'm a bit
confused though since he doesn't have ANY signs of adrenal
disease. No hair loss, no aggression, no sexual signs,
nothing. Could he have it and not be showing signs yet? I
have noticed him straining to go potty for about 2 1/2 weeks
or more.
We are going to go ahead and schedule an ultrasound for
Tuesday too. At least we won't be in the dark anymore this
way. I will make sure the person who does it knows to look
for the enlarged prostrate, possible stones/crystals. Thanks
