I remember a case similar this in the early years at the shelter-- it ended
up being lymphoma on the brain stem. Preceeding the ticks and shaking she
had had an enlarged spleen removed-- and at the time no biopsy had been done.
The slight tic started approx 8 weeks after surgery when the ferret was
finally eating on her own. It progressed to many tics in a short number of
days. Chemo was tried but her condition degenerated swiftly.
