Subject: clumping litter

I'd always heard that clumping litter was bad for ferrets, but recently
I've seen the Ferret Store advertising a clumping litter called Swheat
Scoop Ferret Litter. According to the store's website, this is a safe
product. I'm hesitant -- on the one hand, it claims to be safe, and it's
being advertised by a ferret oriented store, but on the other hand, it's a
clumping litter. Is the critical factor that it appears not to be a clay
based litter, forming instead "wheat starch clumps"? Anyway, I'm looking
for an unbiased second opinion before I compare it's price to my current
litter.
