I read everyone's responses about how my ferret might have adrenal
problems and an enlarged prostrate. This sounds much more likely
then a bladder infection at this point. I'm a bit confused though
since he doesn't have ANY signs of adrenal disease. No hair loss,
no aggression, no sexual signs, nothing. Could he have it and not
be showing signs yet? I have noticed him straining to go potty
for about 2 1/2 weeks or more.

I have seen ferrets with absolutely no clinical signs of adrenal
disease with very large adrenal masses. Signs vary between animals,
and it's quite possible for an enlarged prostate to be the first
consequence of adrenal disease.
