Subject: adrenal disease

My 3 year old female ferret had adrenal surgery last Wednesday. It
was in the right gland and was malignant. The vet said it was the
worse he had seen in a ferret. Skylar spent 3 nights at the hospital.
She sleeps a lot, but I guess that is normal. She is slowly getting
more energy.
The vet said she would probably need a depoluprine shots every 6
months. I'm not sure about the spelling of the shot. I don't
understand what the shot will do. Can anybody explain it a little
more to me? Is it the same as lupron?
Thank you
