Subject: Itchy ferret

Hello all weezil lovers! I would like to pose a question to you.
My ferret Luna is a 3yr old female, all shots etc.,she is
affectionately called "itch bear" ...... all she does is itch itch
itch. They wake her out of her dead ferret sleep. When she is
running around playing with our other 5 fuzzies (they itch but not
like Luna) she must stop every minute to scratch some terrible itch
and it could last up to a minute with the itching. Im worried that
this might signify an adreanal problem. I have brought her to the
vet who states she is in excellent health, her skin is normal we
have put her on vitamins but nothing seems to help. When I bathe
her I use only a very mild baby shampoo. Any suggestions or tips
that you could supply would be most welcome. What are the signs of
an adreanal gland problem ? Im worried about her. She is not
losing any fur, she has actually grown a beautiful silky winter
coat.

Thanks! Michele Michael and all the fuzzies Luna, Lestat, Luis,
Diego, Sagebrush, and Jaedyn the cat chaser.
