Subject: Re: Klondike's necropsy results
Hi Debbie, so sorry to hear about Klondike.
Vets and other experts, this may be off the wall, but has Glycogen Storage Disease
ever been documented in ferrets? Enlarged liver, muscular weakness
(including breathing problems), and neuro problems are all consistent.
But it's extremely rare in people, and I don't know if ferrets can have
it at all.
Just a thought; I did research on GSD yrs ago and am probably just
seeing patterns where there are none. But I'll be interested in the
histopath results.
