Subject: scabbed wart, what should I do?

Looks a lot like the skin tumor my ferret has,
sebaceous epithelioma I believe by looking at
pictures. http://www.afip.org/ferrets/Sebep/sebep.html

This may not apply to ferrets, but
Keloids are overgrowth of fiberblastic tissue in the skin
that comes from areas of injury, more common in
black skinned humans. They can be pink, but not
raw or red surface, don't bleed, and are not scabed-
it actually grows
on the skin instead of looking like it is coming
from underneath and "popping" through.

When in doubt, remove it.
