Subject: JC's location
I suppose it was my fear of being long-winded that caused me to leave out
information that would have made it easier for someone to help!
JC (adrenal & insulinoma we think) lives in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
There are several excellent vets in our area, but none that deal with
ferrets.
In fact, one vet refers to them as "pocket pets" and thinks they should be
put down when they start to "circle the drain." Another, the one we have
been dealing with, has seen JC several times but admits he doesn't know much
about her or her symptoms. He has stated that if we can find a medicine
that we think will work for her he would order it for us. Unfortunately,
the one vet in this area that knew the most about ferrets is no longer
practicing--hence our dilemma.
