My 6 y/o male has two problems. He is very, very itchy at night. This
has gotten worse in the past couple months. He is staying with a
friend while I wait for my house to be completed. She rubs him with
lotion, but it doesn't seem to help much. She suspects adrenal, tho'
there are no other symptoms. Well, he is aggressive sometimes...
The other issue is that his penis gets red. It's not swollen, just red
in color. Putting neosporin on it clears it up, but the color comes
back after a day or two.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. This list is a wonderful
resource, and I am thankful for all the vets who donate their time to
answer the questions of ferret owners.
