Hi Lisann,
It sounds like these are all symptoms of adrenal disease. Check out
this website for pictures of clinical symptoms - including the
inflamed prepuce. Dr Weiss' website says that this can occur when
the ferret is straining to urinate. This can be a very dangerous
situation for a male ferret as it can block him. The itchiness, the
aggression, and the straining are all fairly large signs of adrenal
disease. Not all ferrets go bald when they are adrenal. This is
something I think you should look into with your vet.
Dr Weiss also has on his website, treatment options for adrenal
disease - both surgical and medication. You might want to print
these out for your vet to look over.
