Subject: What to feed a ferret with Insulinoma

I'm looking for advice on what to feed a ferret with
Insulinoma. Do I need to feed her "duck soup"? If so, how
much, how often? In addition to her kibble or in place of
kibble? So far she has had no seizures or extreme symptoms,
but has had some rear-leg weakness.

I am also looking for "duck soup" recipes. I have Bob
Church's chicken gravy recipe, but it seems so involved and
time consuming to make. Like most people these days, I lead a
very busy life and am looking for ways to keep things simple.
Are there any less involved recipes that are still
nutritionally sound? If I have to go to all this work, I
will, but if there is an easier way, I'm all for it. I don't
even know where to find a meat grinder or how expensive that
would be. I was also wondering how good or bad a diet of
"duck soup" would be for their teeth. I know the hard kibble
helps to keep the teeth clean.

I know I just asked tons of questions, and could probably ask
just as many more, but please share your knowledge. This is
the first time I've had to deal with Insulinoma, so I am still
learning. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
