Sorry I cannot help with your initial question, not
in the ferret anyway! However you asked for ideas and
I was wondering why you do not raise her Pred. to a
higher dose to bring the glucose level up higher, it
is dangerously low and I have seen many ferrets
improve, when their glucose levels are raised, even
straightening out the runny poop within a couple of
days! It would make her feel so much better and her
age seeems worth a try, just my idea---Angela.
