Subject: Re: Deaf Ferret?

Good advice.

Pointer: sometimes a ferret can be deaf to certain types of
sounds. One of our little girls was deaf to high pitched sounds.
She'd even place a hand on a person's mouth if the perosn was
speaking at a high pitch like she was trying to make out if
sounds were eminating. My voice is not very high ptiched but I
had to scale it much lower or she would not hear me.

Have heard of someone else whose ferret could not hear low
pitched sounds.
