Subject: heavy cream
I've noticed some of you include heavy cream in your recipes to keep
weight on. I used to use the cream for one of my late ferrets as he was
losing weight due to kidneys starting to decline. My vet ran blood work
on him and was shocked at his cholesterol level which I attributed to
the cream I added to his diet. I figured it was the least of his
problems, but was wondering if long term use of heavy cream could
somehow hurt the ferret's health.
