Subject: Source for Melatonin
Does anyone out there use Melatonin for the treatment of adrenal
disease in their ferret, and have a good source?
I've never used it myself, but someone has contacted me and the
Melatonin they're finding in the stores doesn't sound exactly the
best for giving to a ferret.
One of them, Natrol Liquid Melatonin, is 1mg of Melatonin per 4ml of
the liquid. That's way to much liquid to have to give. The 1mg
pills she found are quite large and would require a large amount of
food to disquise it in.
So what we're looking for is a concentrated formula that has 1mg in
some form that would be more compatible with a ferret size dose.
