Subject: Cream

I had not known there was a heavy cream and heavy whipping cream - I just
checked the
fridge and found the I currently have the heavy whipping cream. I'll have
to pay more
attention in the store next time!
However - there is a slightly different alternative that I have in the
fridge but not tried yet.
A new grocery store is currently selling (don't know for how long) imported
Devonshire double cream from the UK, i.e. "clotted cream" I think. I tried
to compare
the calories and fat content but couldn't do the conversion (a true
earthling I was born without the math lobe:)
At 4.50 for a 6 oz small bottle its quite pricey, but if you want to up
the calories/fat in a smaller amount, i.e. more bang
for the amount of food your force feeding it might be something to
investigate.
hvy whipping cream Devonshire
1 tbsp (15 ml) 1 zo (28 g)
5 g fat 13 g fat
50 cal 125 cal
50 cal from fat 121 cal from fat

I think the UK may be a bit fussier about their milk to, and there are no
other
additives listed as their are in the US heavy whipping cream which is nice.
