Subject: need ferret sitter in nj for physically challenged ferrets
OK, this may not be on topic directly, but if I don't find the right person/place to watch my 2 ferrets in the next month, we're all going to be running into some serious medical problems.
I have 2 ferrets with chronic health problems, whom I have discussed on this list at length off and on since March of last year, when the list started. They are better now than they've been since I've owned them, but still require handfeeding with Bob CHurch's Chicken Gravy 3-4 times a day, and one is on thyroid medicine Q12 hours. I am pretty seriously ill right now myself, and am scheduled to have a week of medical testing done at the end of February. I have been unable to locate anyone to watch or board my ferrets with that can feed them or care for them during this period of time. I am at my wits end on what to do at this point, because I've had to reschedule this testing 4 times in 4 months now because of not being able to find anyone to watch the ferrets.
If anyone on this list knows of someone who would be willing to take care of my babies for a week (paid)at either their house or my house, could you please email me off the list?? I really cannot put off my health issues anymore, but want to be sure my babies are well cared for while I'm gone. I can drive them up to 250 miles one way to be sure they will receive proper care and attention.
