Subject: swollen belly/enlarged spleen
I hope i get all the information out correctly, but i w/send
it as i am seeing it. My Poppy has a swollen belly, and
enlarged spleen. She has already been to the vet, for spleen
bio, bloodwork, and ultrasound. Nothing shows as far as i
know, and the vet is stumped. She is also showing fluid
buildup around her tummy? Anyone have any ideas? Poppy eats
well, and elimination apprears normal, i just worry about her
and the tummy, it has to be uncomfortable, and has been a few
days now. I had the same swollen tummy with Bandit prior to
Poppy, but vet doesn't think they are related, however Bandit
also had swollen spleen. ??? Our doctor is not on till
Monday, when i will just take Poppy in to see her, i don't
want too many people involved, but will just keep a watchful
eye for now...and keep her as comfortable as i can.
