Subject: Crusty Eyes
Hi, I have a question reguarding a fuzzy I saw in the pet store a few
days ago. He had goup in one of his eyes, it was sealed shut. It
actually looked like on of the other fuzzies pooped in his eye, or
he's nuzzeled in poop. One of the girls at the store said that they
had a nother ferret come back yesterday with the same problem. They
looked to be marshell babies. Does anyone know what this could have
been?
I did touch him, but I also sanitized my hands before leaving and took
a shower when I got home and changed clothes before touching my own
fuzzy again.
P.S. My own fuzzy is now trying to puke. Showing almost similar
signs that the last ferret had. No green poop, no loss of appitite
(although his tummy obviously hurts because he wants to eat but
won't), no loss of engery, no loss of poop or straining when he does.
Eyes look good, mouth looks good, everything looks good. He stops
heaving when I give him a little pepto (which he hates but will take)
and gets his appitie back. Any suggestions?
