Subject: ADV Testing / PLEASE!!!!!!!!
For those of you not testing (including Vets) you are making a BIG
mistake!!!
Just this week alone, I know someone in Texas with 3 positives,her
in/law with a positive,a friend with 2 older ferrets very likely
positive and last night here in the Great Pacific Northwest where we
don't get ADV...(HA!) i met a very Positive boy who seized & died this
AM....he was just tested yesterday......
This SCARES me to Death....
This last lady (who is just a sweetheart, and a VERY shocked Registered
Nurse,btw) had no idea her kid(s) had it (more non-tested at
home)....like alot of you,she pets & plays with the kits at Petco and
NOT Knowing could very well have had contact with you or your
ferrets.....Gee???? Please think!!!!
It's an easy at home test....&15.00 and cheaper the more you buy....get
together with a friend,or your Vet....buy in bulk.Read,educate
yourselves,educate your Vet...I found out this week that alot of Vets
are unaware of this HORRIBLE virus!!!!
If ALL of us do not start testing NOW...we could have a GIGANTIC
outbreak & lose all our kids.....
Please.....go to White Russians site....Get on that Message Board.Those
people like Judy,Mary,Danee to name a few and are LIVING IT....are
WONDERFUL!!!
Hey,I didn't test till August this year....Negative.thank GOD.....But
hey...we could have been Positive.....
We were just like alot of you.....
Please get on this! The life you save may be your Ferrets......or mine!
