Subject: Re: Flaxseed Oil

I can understand you using the flaxseed oil in such a small amount
and on a rare basis, but in my case, the flaxseeds are cluttered in
the ferret food. And I've been feeding this food to my ferret for
over 6 months now (mixed with Totally Ferret, but still). I've
stopped temporarily for now until I get this matter clarified. If
there is real danger to this, I can't understand why companies would
use this ingredient in ferret food products.

P.S. I wouldn't use canola oil for anything. Most of the canola oil
in North America is genetically engineered.
