TV sets do emit a small amount of radiation in the form of x-rays. Theres
no way to prevent it except by using the new modern LC Tv's. Having said
that, modern TV's also are shielded to prevent almost all of the x-rays from
getting out. If you were to let your ferret play right up against the
screen, over a lifetime he might get enough to effect something. A few feet
away and the x-rays deminish to nil. Most TV's set a couple of feet above
the floor where the ferret would be. I wouldn't worry about it at all.
Nor has it been proven by hard scientific evidence that AC highline
radiation or cell-phone radiation is harmful to anything.
