Subject: Ulcers?

My ferret, Lucy, who was suspected of having allergies, is still very
sick and still not eating or drinking on her own. I am now wondering if
she may now have ulcers. She does grind her teeth when I feed her duck
soup and her stools are real loose.

I have read on here different things to give for ulcers or upset
stomachs. I know she doesn't like Pepto, and I can't remember what else
I read that is used instead. How much should I give her? I am very
worried about her since she has been so sick for so long. I have taken
her to 3 vets now and none of them know what is wrong with her. Her
blood tests are normal, her ex-rays show some enlargening in her throat
area that might be lymphoma, but her lymph glands feel normal. Her
spleen is enlarged. Her heart is fine. She is currently on Prednisone
and a diuretic for her wheezing which is helping. I also have started
her on Timmy's Tonic which has increased her energy a bit. She
vigorously laps up her duck soup but won't eat her regular food. I
dilute her duck soup with a lot of water so she gets more of that in her
system as well since she has been somewhat dehydrated (I bring her in
for subQ's). I have already spent almost $800 on tests and medication
in the past couple months with no answers. I don't know what else to do.
I just can't stand to see my baby so sick and not be able to help her.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
