Subject: knowledge on neurological problems

Has anyone ever had a ferret with neurological problems? I got my
ferret back from the vet about two weeks ago, and he had an infection
and possibly head trauma. There is no way to tell what stinky went
through "out" before I found him. His infection has been taken care
of, and he got a cortizone shot at the vet's on Friday. I am also to
give him .2cc of oral cortizone every day. He wasn't eating and was
acting lethargic again so that's why I took him in. He is more alert
now, but he really still cannot use his back legs, and they shake
sometimes. I still have to feed him. I feel really bad for this
little guy. Is there anythinig else I can do? Hopefully, like the
vet said, the cortizone will reverse his problem, but the only way to
really give him an accurate diagnosis is to have an MRI done. That
would cost about $700/$800. I am a student, and I can't do that.
Does anyone have any ideas?
