We also just had a reaction to a rabies vaccination last week. Butch had a previous reaction two years ago and we started pretreating him 30 minutes before any shots with injectable Benedryl at the vet's office.
I know most people say that there is less risk of reaction in the rabies than the distemper but it seems that there is an increase in the reactions to the rabies. Is there any reason this seems to be happening more than it use to be?
Is this reported to anyone other than the maker of the vaccine and are records kept? Just wondering.
