This is a simple and natural method! Take a teaspoon
of salt and add to very hot water! Take a facecloth
and soak in solution, squeeze out gently and place
over the ferret's mouth and nose, so that he will have
to breathe in the vapor! WATCH NOT TO GET IT IN HIS
EYES, it will smart!!!
Do this several times a day and you will find it will
clear his airways and heal any of the mucous membranes
that may be irritated! I have done this with many a
rescue ferret and it has worked wonderfully! If it
doesn't help then perhaps he may have an obstruction!
