Subject: Question about carafate dosage.
I just came from the only vet in my area that will even look at
ferrets. My four year old female has ulcers. The Vet gave me
carafate. What she left for me was 600 mg tablet and said to give
1/16th of it. My question is how would give a ferret a 1/16th of a
pill and how often. I also asked about biaxin and was told the vet
said she never heard of it. So I wonder if there is anyplace I can
get some of it? I will greatly apperciate any responses.
