Subject: Outcome of adrenal or shedding
Just wanted to give you an update of my ferret Opie who had been
hairless and then started growing hair...I wasn't sure if it was just
a shed or if he was really adrenal...I had many responses both on and
offline and it was all in aggreement with the surgery...Well, he came
thru surgery with flying colors minus some ectopic tissue from his
left adrenal, his right was removed also or rather cryo'd ...it was
wrapped around the vena cava, nodules were taken off his pancreas
along with 40% of his pancreas..So I guess first instint is the best
to follow..Even though he is 6 yrs old and in good health I am glad I
did it and not wait till he health started downhill....
