Hi KC,
Please double check the Carafate tablet.
The brand name Carafate only comes in 1 gram
tablet here in the USA. As Mike mentioned you
can dissolve the tablet in warm water and dose it
that way. Better still is to use the liquid suspension
of Carafate. It comes in a 1gram per 10ml suspension
(ie 100mg/ml). I usually use 1 ml (100mg) prior to
feeding.
