In adrenal males, yes they can. In my opinion any adrenal male ferret should
not wait for surgery - it should be performed as soon as possible after
diagnosis because of the dangers of the prostate swelling and blocking the
urethra. Here at the shelter, male ferrets automatically get bumped to the
top of the list for surgery if I have more than one waiting....
