Hi Nona,
Actually we do not have a Lupron for ferrets
here in the US either. We use the Lupron for
humans, which is an injectable product.
Another option is to try melatonin tablets
(1mg once a day about 8 hours after sunrise).
You are right about being between a rock and a hard
